This luxury 4 star lodge is located in the savannah grasslands of Tsavo East National Park in Kenya which officially opened in 2003.
It is set on a 25-acre site on the boundary of Tsavo East National Park offering spectacular views of nearby volcanic outcrops such as; Sagalla, Kasigau and Mwakingali hills.
Tsavo East features many interesting aspects such as; the spine of the Yatta Plateau, one of the world’s longest lava flows; Athi River flanked by stately doum palms which near the Manyani gate forms the Lugard Falls, a long stretch of rippling white water cataracts and a favorite haunt for sunbathing crocodiles.
The falls gush through a small fissure before dropping to Crocodile Point below where the river changes its name to the Galana.
Designed to blend unassumingly into the surrounding environment, the lodge boasts a natural waterhole often attracting big game such as; buffaloes, elephants, cheetahs, lions and many others plus an abundance of birdlife.
The lodge is too easy to access by road and air because it is only 4-hour drive from Nairobi and just 2-hour drive from Mombasa.
Tsavo East airstrip is located only 5 minutes drive from Voi Wildlife Lodge where charters are available to destinations throughout Kenya.
