Tipilikwani Mara Camp

It is a uniquely luxury camp perched on the banks of  the Talek River overlooking the mottled plains of the Maasai Mara National Park where vast herds of wildlife co-exist with the colorful Maasai people.

From July to late October, the Maasai Mara is renowned for hosting one of the most spectacular wildlife shows on earth the ‘’great annual  migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and many other animals including zebras among others as they enter the Mara ecosystem from Serengeti in neighboring Tanzania.

The camp boosts 20 tents enjoying river frontage and are all decorated with warm and rich Maasai colors. All the tents have electricity and en suite facilities (showers / double basins with hot and cold running water).

The family tents have a stand-alone bath tub in addition to showers. Excellent food, personalized service and traditional Kenyan hospitality further compliment the prime location of the camp.

The camp provides an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere for experiencing the full adventure of the African bush.

Game drives offer a great opportunity to enjoy the diversity of animals and birds living permanently in the Masai Mara as well as many migratory species.

Guests can also learn more about the Masai people (culture), proud pastoralists and warriors many of whom still retain their traditional nomadic lifestyle.
