Ol Moran Tented Camp

This is an exclusive tented camp in the worldly-popular Masai Mara reserve for those who want to be true to wild experience.

The camp is situated within the Masai Mara Eco-system and on the banks of Ololaimutia River which is a watering point for most of wild animals especially elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes among others.

The camp can be accessed from two points such as; the closest being the Ololaimutia gate of Masai Mara reserve which is next to the camp and the second access point is via the Sekenani gate.

The camp is situated only 20 Kilometers away from Keekrok Air Strip, 15 Kilometers from Sekenani gate, 2 kilometers from Ololaimutia gate, and 230 Kilometers from Nairobi.

Guests at the camp will be able to access and enjoy the abundant wildlife in Masai Mara reserve, the new seventh wonder of the modern world, which is mostly famous for hosting the great annual migration of wildebeests and many other carnivores in July to October.

The camp boosts 19 spacious and exclusive tents which include 14 standard tents and 5 superior tents.

Various room / sleeping arrangements are available that is to say; double, twin, and triple rooms of which baby cots or extra beds can be added on request. All the tents have hot showers, Zip up front and a front veranda all under the canopy of African makuti.

There is also a high powered three phase generator that will allow guests recharge their cameras and mobile phones.

The camp is surrounded by a serene, clean and calm environment thus offering a pleasing area for the guests.

Amazing activities include; the game drives which can be done on open custom made 4×4 Toyota Land cruisers, full body 4×4 Land cruisers or in a mini-van with a pop up roof offering you an excellent game viewing in the Masai Mara reserve.

What one must not also miss is the amazing traditional Maasai culture such as; Masai dances with bone fires-one always craves for dawn.

The meals are buffet and are enjoyed either in the dining or under the shade of indigenous trees. The culinary affair is indeed one to delight the senses. Evening tea is provided.

There is a well stocked bar mostly with African Beers, Wines and other international recognized wines and spirits.

The bar is well stocked with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. It is attached to the main Lounge and next to the Dinning. The services are personalized with a standby waiter always at your beck and call.

In terms of healthy issues, at the camp there is a 24-hour ground and air emergency response service from the flying doctor service though it is always advisable for the guests to have their own health insurance cover.
