Tawi Lodge

Tawi lodge is a harmonious combination of modern comfort and African tradition nestled at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain (Mountain Kilimanjaro).

It is situated on a private conservancy of 6,000 acres a few-minute drive from Kimana gate (the eastern entrance to Amboseli national park). The property offers clear views of Africa’s highest mountain even from the comfort of your bed or bathtub.

Tawi lodge comprises of 13 luxury cottages with 4 poster beds and comfortable mattresses of which each cottage has its own wooden-deck veranda.

All the cottages have a panoramic and magnificent view of the highest mountain in Africa and each has its own fireplace. Double or twin cottages all have en suite bathrooms fitted with both a bath and shower. At Tawi lodge, lighting and water systems are solar powered.

The lodge features a water hole which is visible from all the property’s facilities, main lodge, complimentary WIFI, bars, dining room, lounges, and spa which is very famous among elephants, zebras, Impalas, kudus, gerenuks and the local wildlife.

Some of the 400-plus bird species in the majestic Amboseli ecosystem nest in the lodge’s trees thus offering a bird watching activity to the guests. Guests can relax at the bar, restaurant or heated an outdoor pool with an exquisite surrounding.
