Porini Amboseli Camp

This camp is small boosting just 10 spacious guest tents and retains all the charm and feel of the traditional mobile safari camps of days gone by.

Tents are tastefully furnished and have solar powered electric lighting with en suite bathrooms which boost a shower, wash basin and flush toilet.

The facility offers an exclusive yet friendly experience with a maximum of 20 guests at a time and it is fully-inclusive of all meals, drinks such as; wine, vodka, gin & tonics, beer, sodas and mineral water, and activities including; day and night shared game drives, guided walks and sundowners.

The property also features a campfire. For guests staying at the camp, the camp’s staff can arrange road transfers from Nairobi to Selenkay Conservancy or can book return flights from Nairobi to Amboseli airstrip at the applicable air fare.

Within the Selenkay conservancy area, the following animals have been seen recently such as; elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelles, gerenuks, impalas, Oryx, lesser kudus, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, warthogs, striped hyenas, jackals, bat-eared foxes, caracals, African wild cats, servals, genets, honey badgers, mongooses and ostriches.  Birdlife is prolific especially the birds of prey such as buzzards, falcons, and vultures among others.
