Ngutuni Lodge

This is a luxury safari lodge perched in the heart of a 10,000-acre private game sanctuary surrounded on three sides by Tsavo East National Park.

The lodge is set overlooking a water hole and is tucked against the spectacular backdrop of the Sagala Hills only 2.5 hours’ drive from Mombasa and its international airport.

The lodge is just 15 minutes’ drive from Tsavo east main gate and 1 hour from Tsavo west and Taita Hills. It comprises of 48 rooms built of blocks all overlooking the waterhole, where animals come to drink water, and the endless savannah of Tsavo National Park.

All of the lodge’s rooms are spacious and fully furnished with en-suite shower rooms, a bathroom, one double and one single bed each with a telephone and balcony offering undisturbed views of the beautiful surroundings.

The private balconies overlook the large water hole, which is illuminated at night for evening game viewing. Accommodation is available on both a half-board and a full-board basis.

The property is one of the lodges situated in the land of history where the European army camped during the construction of the Kenya-Uganda railway where many locals and Indians were eaten by the man-eaters of Tsavo but the lodge has finally converted the guns into cameras. The lodge features; a dining area, a bar and lounge.
