Mara Leisure Camp

This camp is located in the worldly popular Masai Mara national reserve along the Talek River, at the confluence of the Masai Mara’s four wildlife viewing areas, on the northern boundary of the Masai Mara reserve.

The camp is set within one of the most spectacular locations in the entire Masai Mara reserve.

One of the most exciting spectacles in the world is that of the ‘Great Migration’ which is hosted within only two national parks in the world which include Serengeti national park of Tanzania and the Masai Mara of Kenya.

The two Parks are contiguous to each other thus allowing this annual great migration where almost two millions of wildebeests, over 250,000 zebras and other herbivores pass through the Masai Mara/Serengeti ecosystem in Kenya and Tanzania.

Guests in the Mara leisure camp will get clear sightings of this great migration hence having an unforgettable wildlife safari in Africa. This is a perilous migration for the animals where they encounter many river crossings and have to run the gauntlet of crocodiles in waiting.

Mara Leisure Camp promises its guests a unique safari adventure including daily safari drives with the experienced local Masai guides as well as educational outings and visits to several community development projects within the Talek area.

For the discerning palate, the camp has expert chefs who prepare delicious cuisine. As dusk rolls in, guests will enjoy romantic evenings while watching the sunset over the plains or get cozy by the fireplace while enjoying a sundowner.

A variety of accommodation is available at Mara Leisure Camp and the camp offers tents suitable for families, as well as individuals such as; honeymooners, leisure travelers and others.

The camp also comprises of cottages for the guests who don’t want canvas walls. The camp comprises of an outdoor swimming pool, business centre, restaurant & cuisine, a gift shop, conference room catering over 40 guests, and a bar among others.
