Mara Intrepids Tented Camp

The property is situated within the Park overlooking the Talek River (one of Mara’s four game-viewing areas). Mara Intrepid Camp enjoys one of the most spectacular locations in the world’s best-known wilderness (Maasai Mara National Reserve/Park).

The facility comprises of newly renovated tents with four poster King sized beds and there is free WIFI in all the public areas.

The camp boosts a swimming pool and camp fires at night all for your comfort and while at the camp, guests will enjoy a variety of amazing activities such as balloon safaris, game drives, sundowners, cultural encounters, bird watching and excellent game viewing among others.

If dining at the camp proves a tad too tame, you can head out to wilder settings and enjoy sumptuous bush breakfasts and dinners including sundowners within sight of some big games such as; an African lion, Elephants, and leopards of even the hippos snorting in the River.

The Camp is situated just a few-minute drive from the Mara River where Wildebeests and Zebras plus many other wildlife species make their perilous migration crossing the River and penetrate through the Mara Park from its southern counter park in Tanzania (Serengeti national park).

This incredible annual migration involves over 1.5 million wildebeests, half a million of Thomson’s gazelles, 250,000-plus Zebras and many antelopes of which the migration takes place in July to late October of every year when the animals are looking for fresh pastures.

The camp consists of 30 luxury tents which are made up with custom milled African mahogany furniture, over size four poster beds, en-suite bathroom with showers boosting of both running hot and cold water, flash toilets and electricity among other modern amenities. All the 30 rooms spread across a large riverside site to ensure guests the privacy and peace.
