Fig Tree Camp

Fig tree camp is perched on the banks of the Talek River in the Africa’s finest ‘’Maasai Mara National Reserve’’.

The camp comprises of 70 tents which include; 38 safari tents all with views of the Talek River and each with a double and single bed, 22 garden chalets with double and single beds, and 10 superior Ngamboli tents on the banks of Talek River.

It is situated on the northern border of the national reserve and its central location makes all areas of the park accessible during game drives.

To make an evening a real adventure, at the camp one can choose to stay in a tent or a chalet thus giving the best of both worlds.

The rooms spaciously line up along the Talek River overlooking the plains of the Masai Mara Reserve. Feeling too hot especially during the noon hours, a camp features a swimming pool for guests to refresh themselves.

The camp features many facilities and services to ensure its guests have a comfortable stay. These include two bars, a main dining room, an open-air dining area and a tree house coffee deck.

Others include; a video room, guest lecture facilities, in-door fire place, a curio shop. A fleet of four-wheel drive vehicles with expert drivers is available at the camp and it also has a resident nurse and medical clinic. Power at the camp is supplied by a generator.
