Tourism in Kenya is the second-largest source of foreign exchange revenue next to agriculture. The Kenya Tourism Board is responsible for maintaining information pertaining to tourism in Kenya.

The main tourist attractions are photo safaris through the almost 60 national parks and game reserves. Other attractions include the great annual wildebeest migration in Masai Mara which is considered as one of Africa’s seven wonders.

The other attractions in Kenya can be in; its historical mosques and colonial-era forts at Mombasa, Malindi, the renowned vast scenery (Lamu) which is like the snow white capped Mountain Kenya, the Great Rift Valley, the tea plantations at Kericho, the coffee plantations at Thika, clear spectacular views of Mt.

Kilimanjaro (Africa’s highest free-standing Mountain) across the border into Tanzania; and the beaches along the Swahili Coast, in the Indian Ocean. The following are the protected areas in Kenya (National parks and reserves).
